Become your avatar and step into the psychedelic phantasmagorical world of Zookeeper’s Palace. The place is an ornately woven tapestry of color, richly layered sounds and rythmic positive vibes. Six musicians assure that your every musical need will be met during your visit. Organic hippy percusive walls of sound and vision unfurl like flowered vines reaching for the sun. There is contrasting darkness too, but not nearly as frightful as the awesomely trippy cover art by Ray Cabarga.
Zookeeper’s Palace have been performing to enthusiastic crowds in SoCal since last year, so join the group mind and see what it’s all about. You can tell the group listen to prog rock. The layman might hear the fusion of their quasi-European tribal space grooves and draw comparisons to Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, Steven Wilson or Jane’s Addiction, among others, but they have laid claim to a unique corner of the musical spectrum that is all their own.

The group are acquiring fans nationwide so catch a ride on the circular motion cantained on this debut disc, or check out a show before they blow up. Unleash your inner animal and prowl the Zookeeper’s Palace.

Zookeeper’s Palace upcoming shows:

May 12 at Old Towne Pub in Pasadena at 9PM
May 25 at Molly Malone’s in LA at 8:30PM.
