Richie Sambora headline show

at Hollywood’s Henry Fonda Theater. November 13, 2012

 

On warm day and night at Hollywood, California in a pack theater to hear and see Bon Jovi’s axe man for his headlining show. The seventeen songs, two hour show was a mix of his new songs as well some Bon Jovi music. The lighting for the stage was with LED screen of different images of flowers and rain effect, LED color lights and moving strobes from behind the band. The opening song from the new album was ‘’Burn that Candle” followed by “Every Road Leads Home To You”, “Now A days”, Stranger in this Town”.  Other songs from the new album are “Sugar Daddy,”“I’ll will always Walk beside You”, Seven Years Gone”, “Learning to Fly with A Broken Wing”, “You can Only Get So High”.  “Weathering the Storm” is about our personal emotions and experiences of life yet he dedicated this song for the recent hurricane on the north east and funds from his merchandise go to the Red Cross.

 

He also performed Bon Jovi songs: “I’ll Be There for You with “Hungry Heart” snippet by Bruce Springsteen.  The Encore songs were “Wanted Dead Or Alive”, Richie starting the intro on a double neck guitar with the audience singing the whole song, The Beatles” Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End (Richie teased a part of Rosie before the song), “Livin’ on Paryer” a slow version, and “These Days Is good that he is performing with his band away from Bon Jovi to let his influence of music and sound to be heard while 2013 Bon Jovi will be performing across the US in stadiums and June 2013 at Slane Castle, Slane, Ireland.
