Unity Tour

On July 13, 2012, the Unity Tour took to the stage at the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, Texas. This is the 10th consecutive summer that the band 311 has headlined or co-headlined the tour of amphitheaters across the country. This summer 311 is joined on tour by Slightly Stoopid with special guests The Aggrolites.

311, which has been dubbed “one of the most entertaining live bands in the US,” is an alternative rock band with a sound described as a mixture of rap, funk, reggae, and jazz fusion. The band is comprised of Nick Hexum on vocals, Chad Sexton on drums, Tim Mahoney on guitar, SA Martinez on vocals, and Aaron “P-Nut” Wills on bass. There headlining set on this night included 22 numbers including several from their latest album, Universal Pulse, which was released on July 19, 2012.

Slightly Stoopid is described as a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk.  The band includes front men Miles Doughty on guitar, bass, and vocals, and Kyle McDonald on guitar, bass, and vocals.

Joining them are Ryan “RyMo” Moran on drums, Oguer “OG” Ocon on percussion, harp and vocals, C-Money on trumpet and keyboards, and DeLa on saxophone. Slightly Stoopid is touring ahead of the August 14, 2012 release of their seventh studio album, On Top of the World.

The Aggrolites opened the show. The band members are Alex McKenzie on drums, Roger Rivas on piano and organ, Jesse Wagner on vocals and lead guitar, Jeff Roffredo on bass, and Ricky Chacon on rhythm guitar.
