TESLA’S FRANK HANNON RELEASES SIX-STRING SOLDIERS:

Tesla’s Frank Hannon has just released his new album Six-String Soldiers. New Mexico when Frank Hannon judged a “Guitar Contest” put on by 94 ROCK and discovered the talents of guitarist Mike Araiza. The winner’s prize was jamming onstage with Tesla and little did Mike know that 5 years later he would be collaborating on what would become one of music’s most guitar-driven albums in a generation. Mike Araiza and vocalist Jeff Sandoval came to Frank Hannon with some small seeds of song ideas to record in his RedHawk Records studio and the three of them teamed up to write 12 songs of great rock-n-roll music! they set out to recruit some of histories top legendary guitarists to join them and create the sound of the Six-String Soldiers! Multi-platinum selling guitarist Frank Hannon rose to fame as one of the founding members and lead guitarists of Tesla. Frank brings over 25 years of recording expertise in his latest solo album “Six-String Soldiers”.

Mike Araiza The incredibly talented guitarist / song writer Mike Araiza delivers and epic solo on “Love, Life and Beauty” which perfectly complements the passion of his longtime friend and co-writer, vocalist Jeff Sandoval. As a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts has become an American icon with his song “Ramblin’ Man”. His guitar on “Touch the Ground” shows us why Dickey is a true living legend.

With classics like “Mean Streak” and “Black Tiger” Y&T’s Dave Meniketti has solidified his spot in music history as one of the best face-melting guitarists ever, as heard on “Lipstick, Smoke -N- Gasoline“ Rick Derringer – The 3 time Grammy Award winner is the very definition of a “Six-String Soldier”. Opening for the Rolling Stones in 1966 he went on to record the classic “Rock n Roll, Hoochi Coo”, and most recently “To the Light“. Inspired by Hendrix, Clapton and Page, Pat Travers picked up the guitar at age 12. He went on to record the classic “Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)”. Pat graciously added his killer bluesy-guitar vibe to the hit “I’m Alive“

Jeffery Allen Sandoval was born on May 2nd, 1969 in Kingman, Kansas. At a very young age, Sandoval became fascinated with the drums. His father suggested that he play an instrument that he could afford, which led him to singing. He would emulate artists playing on the radio or turntable and began harmonizing with each song. Sandoval’s childhood influences included Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Paul Rodgers, Lou Graham, Brad Delp, Sammy Hagar, Steve Marriott.
