Lady GaGaLady Gaga brought her “Monster Ball” Tour to Austin’s Frank Erwin on April 6 and her “little monsters” were ecstatic. A sell-out crowd of over 18,000 fans, many of whom arrived in latex dresses, blonde wigs and fishnets, were eager to witness Gaga’s pop extravaganza.

Twenty-five year old Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known to her legend of fans as Lady Gaga, entertained the packed house for more than two hours.  She covered most of her now-famous songs including Just Dance, Alejandro, Poker Face and Paparazzi.  Also featured was her most recent hit, Born This Way.  Gaga showed her youthful energy as she performed on a explosive multi-layered stage which included several flights of stairs lined with large syringes and a makeshift street car which performers occupied from time to time. She was joined on stage by a troupe of a dozen dancers.

Gaga started this around-the-world tour in November 2009.  Because of the tours immense success, concert promoting giant, Live Nations extended the tour to cover the first part of 2011, including many major cities unvisited in the original tour dates. The tour is scheduled to conclude at the end of this month in Cleveland.
