Bon JoviBon Jovi made their first appearance in San Antonio in 22 years appearing at the AT&T Center on St. Patrick’s Day and the sold out crowd of over 17,000 fans were treated to “a lot of singing” by the rockers from Jersey.

The seemingly ageless rocker, Jon Bon Jovi, was joined on stage by his long time band mates Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and David Bryan.  Together they performed a 21 song set including timeless classics like “Runaway,”  “The More Things Change,”  “You Want to Make a Memory” and “It’s My Life.”  Hugh McDonald joined the band on stage for a rocking cover of Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman.”  The high energy show was brought to a close with two Bon Jovi classics “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “Livin on a Prayer.”

Opening for Bon Jovi on this tour is a rocker from Long Island, Ryan Star.  Ryan has been performing since his high school days when his band would perform in New York clubs.  He was also a contestant on the television competition, “Rock Star.”  Star’s album “11:59” was released in August 2010. The album features the single “Breathe” which brought Star notoriety when he highlighted 18 unemployed people.
