Burbank, CA – Multi-platinum hard rock band Disturbed will release their electrifying new single, “Another Way To Die,” to radio on Monday, June 14th. The track, which will be available from iTunes in the U.S. the following day, is the first single from the Chicago foursome’s self-produced fifth album, Asylum, which will be released by Reprise Records August 2010.  A lyric video for the song will be posted on the band’s official website, www.disturbed1.com, on June 14th.   “Another Way to Die” is bound to cause massive fist pumping amongst crowds all over the world, but there’s a brand new darkness to it as well.  “Thematically, the song’s about global warming and how the choices we make affect the planet,” guitarist Dan Donegan reveals.  “It’s a new topic for us, and it’ll hopefully raise a little awareness.”   In August, Disturbed will headline the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival. Also on the bill are Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Halestorm, and Hell Yeah. Tickets for UPROAR go on-sale to the general public on Saturday, June 12th. Please visit http://www.rockstaruproar.com for details.   Formed in Chicago in 1996, Disturbed have sold 11 million albums and six million digital tracks worldwide, and have scored eight No. 1 singles at Active Rock radio over the course of their career. 2008’s Indestructible debuted at Number One on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart and remained in the Top 10 for five weeks. It was the band’s third consecutive Number One album, following their platinum-sellers Believe (2002) and Ten Thousand Fists (2005), making Disturbed one of only six rock bands in history to score three consecutive Number One debuts with studio albums.     Disturbed is Draiman, guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, and bassist John Moyer.
