Y & TAfter 13 long years, Bay Area rock legends, Y&T return with their long awaited new release, ‘Facemelter’.  Featuring original members Dave Meniketti and Phil Kennemore, with longtime members John Nymann on guitar and Mike Vanderhule on drums. The new record is a blistering slab of face melting rock that will send chills up and down your spine. Recorded mostly live in the studio, it captures the band’s raw energy and tightness that they’ve become known for. Featuring heavy grooves, powerful guitars, and strong melodies, the band shows their versatility, delivering a range of high-energy rockers, mid-tempo head-bangers, modern rock grooves, majestic ballads, and signature Y&T rock anthems. As is evident on such numbers as, ‘On With The Show’ ‘One Life’ ‘Shine On’ ‘Wild Child’, ‘Gonna Go Blind and’ ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’. This is Y&T doing what they do oh so well and that is R-0-C-K! Hats off to Frontier Records for signing the band and recognizing rock and roll greatness. ‘Facemelter’ is solid from start to finish. If you’re looking for some great guitar work, which is a lost art on today’s metal bands, then look no further than Y&T. Overlooked, under-rated and unlucky – Y&T never received the credit they deserved. Grab your leathers, strap yourself in, and prepare to have your face melted. Welcome back boys!
