S.G.S.G. just dropped his debut album “Bonafied!,” and it has Hip Hop heads looking down south. The CD has twelve hard knocking tracks that are sure to get the ladies dropping it low on the dance floor. S.G. hits on some serious topics as well which listeners will appreciate. Every day is full of hustling and grinding for this MC and he brings you to his world through the music. There are guest appearance on tracks 3, 6, 9, 11, and 12 from Bigg Redd, JB, Mr. Envi, and JTL.

Massive bass and tight crisp highs bring the instrumentals to life on “Bonafied!” You can definitely tell there from the dirty south, but they have their own unique flavor to them that I think everyone will jam to. S.G. tears up every beat lyrically with a cool relaxed confidence, especially on track 2, “Eryday Hustle.” He spits pure flames as he describes his twenty-four hour grinding life style. He lets you know just how “bad” he is on track 5, with a hook so catchy you might wake up in the morning reciting it. This is the type of CD that makes you want to drive slow with the bass turned up, rocking a gangster lean like your reaching into the glove box.

This album has been in my deck since I got my hands on it, I can’t seem to turn it off. Every track blends into each other perfectly, and the gangster theme is never forgotten. That’s because S.G. is a true street cat, you can tell from his rhymes that he has experienced a lot and isn’t someone to mess around with. The introduction on “Bonafied!” shows his sense of humor, with a redneck trying to understand the life of a street hustler. Gangsters have to laugh too ya know!

It is hard to believe that this is a debut album. S.G. flexes rhymes like he’s been in the game for decades. “Bonafied!” is sure to please the club crowd, as well as the lonely fan listening with headphones on. I’ve been bumping this album for about a month now, and I’m still catching new sounds and lyrics in each song. The south definitely got a little dirtier and hotter with this release, go out and grab a copy you won’t be disappointed!
