Flink

“Feel My Feeling”

By Kim Thore

FlinkOne is not quite sure what Flink was feeling when they penned 16 tracks all under 3mins but whatever it is let’s hope there is if not a cure a vaccination. Claiming to be Indie Rock, Chinese Pop, Flink is actually more closely aligned with that over indulgent, bad pop that college radio station managers find oh so edgy and force into rotation.

Flink takes themselves far too seriously as evidenced by putting out a cd that features vocals that are rarely in key and a mush of sound that actually hurts. Perhaps they were actually being kind by keeping the tracks diminutive?

Either way, “Feel My Feeling” is evidence that anyone can put out a cd, be grateful that not everyone has to listen to it.
