Torch Le Monde :: Eat the Words EP

Independent Release

By The Atomic Chaser

Torch Le Monde :: Eat the Words EPA calm before the storm if you will. That is what was going through my mind as I was listening to the Australian rockers called, Torch Le Monde. Simon Hill on vocals, Joel McDonald on guitar, Pat Taylor on bass and Jordan McDonald on drums. It's increasingly rare to hear a new band and actually get excited about their future output. But this 5-song set goes by way too fast. "Let Go" kicks the album off like a firecracker, from there on out the boys make sure you get your rocks off with, "Eat The Words", "Inside Or Out" and "Fates Rolling In". Even when the boys downshift on "Love Lead You Astray", they have your undivided attention.

Throw away all the new-fangled "rock 'n' roll revival" bands and just get your hands on this gem. Torch Le Monde are set on becoming rock music's new sensations! What Torch Le Monde brings to the table apart from other bands is that they are gifted songwriters and unbelievable players. They are also young and incredibly driven. I can't wait to hear what the boys do on their next record, If it’s as good as this one, hold on tight! I'm sure it's only the tip of the iceberg. This is a phenomenal debut album for a band that has what it takes to be big. Torch Le Monde is a force to be reckoned with. Keep an eye out for Torch Le Monde, these boys are the real deal.
