Arising up to one of the biggest festivals to look forward to every summer and was founded by Kevin Lyman, the Vans Warped Tour. The tour kicked off in Pomona, CA making its way through Phoenix, AZ, it’s definitely worth the day off work, to ditch that summer school, the gut of how you handle the heat and the cash in your pocket. Celebrating the 15th Anniversary, the tour that brought different genres together which came out to make a delicious cake! It’s the type of ingredients that you don’t think it would make one of the most successful tours in the music industry. So don’t forget your shades, sunscreen and make sure you have enough H2O!
Cricket Pavilion Tuesday afternoon, the sun will not allow your body to have shadows but still the fans would give themselves a few degrees while waiting in the pit for their favorite band to come on. Vans main stage, Underoath was the first to play. Hyping things up for the day with the energy of Monster
cooling off the heads of the six member band. It’s their sixth year on warped and as far as last year they were on the Mayhem Fest expanding their fan base. Their thirty minute set was fanatical and was making sure no one was standing still. Doing what they always do and still letting their fans know they’ll rock out together. Metalcore, The Devil Wears Prada, rages on stage on their second year of warped tour. Performing some new songs off their latest album, With Roots Above And Branches Below. Tearing the stage off and winning their fans acceptation of just being the band for everyone. There For Tomorrow, a pop rock band based in Orlando, FL releasing their new album, A Little Faster, this past summer. Playing on the Smartpunk stage, There For Tomorrow is a fresh diverse band to come across and to listen of what they have to say. The irreconcilable scene of I Set My Friends On Fire is a stop to make. Once that string riffs, the crowd tears the floor. The peculiar astounding lyrics are a fun band to enjoy. It’s the type of thing you put in your car and blast off. 30H!3 played later that evening. Their biggest hit,
Don't Trust Me, landed them in the main stream. Having their own mark hand gesture the crowd poses while dancing to that crunk beat. 3OH!3 is a band to show how to have a good time and that’s what they did with their whole set.
Those are just a few bands to detect this summer. The atmosphere between the bands and the fans is a strong feeling of connection and relation, and then there are some fans that may have found a side of themselves by discovering that new band today.
It’s a place to hear new bands while still enjoying to see whose playing on the main stage. It’s a socializing community to get drawn in for music, non-profit organization, skating, and meeting your inspired heroes. The music industry increases from so many unsigned bands to reach the streaming line for their music to be heard. Musicians will go far to be notice from their distinctive music, using the day to communal spread their own virtue of music.
