June 6th 2009 was the first annual Midwest Rockfest 2009 held in Wellington KS at the lake. Bands that preformed at the first annual concert were: Sweet Pauli Pain, Dirty Penny, Keel, Slaughter, KIX, Great White and Dokken.
All the bands rocked the house and the waters at Wellington Lake. The next concert will be held on July 18th and the bands scheduled are: Ashamed, Signum A.D., Thrown, Powerman5000, Lynchmob, Jackyl and Sevendust.
