The Last Vegas' 'Whatever Gets You Off' is all about ATTITUDE and ROCK N ROLL FURY! Nothing fancy about it. These boys mean business and they are willing to do anything to make sure you get your rocks off. Those responsible for this rock and roll Molotov cocktail are Chad Cherry on vocals, Adam D'Arling on guitars, Johnny Wator on guitars, Danny Smash - Bass and Nate Arling on the drums. Right from the get go the band open fire with the smoking title track "Whatever Gets You Off", from there its non-stop rock and roll fury with numbers like, "I'm Bad", "High Class Trash" and "Loose LIps". The Last Vegas are the natural inheritors of early-70s glam icons like the New York Dolls, Slade, and T. Rex; they're spritzed with the swagger of Aerosmith sprinkled with a dash of L.A. Guns. The end result offers nothing new, but my rock and roll fix does not require that. At the end of the day all I want to do is just get my rocks off and The Last Vegas deliver the goods with a sound that sounds best cranked to the maximum. The songwriting is tight, the vocals are dead on solid and the musicianship is like white on rice. If your ears are jonesing for new music that will just rock your socks off, The Last Vegas are here to give it to you like a runaway freight train.
