Halford :: Live At Rock In Rio IIIThe "METAL GOD" himself Rob Halford unleshes his latest metallic monster in the form of, 'LIVE AT ROCK IN RIO III' the deluxe digi-box with two-disc edition (5.1 DVD, CD ) DVD features a 98-Minute Documentary on Halford's 2000 - 2001 Resurrection World Tour, interviews with new band members and exclusive studio footage featuring Rob Halford and Iron Maiden frontman, Bruce Dickinson. The DVD also features Halford's 59-Minute Full-Length performance at Rock In Rio III. The set also features the re-releasing of Halford's debut recording 'Resurrection'. The CD has been digitally remastered with 16 tracks two NEW Halford, "God Bringer Of Death" and "Fetish" tracks plus Halford's original Japan bonus tracks, "Sad Wings", "Twist", "Drive" and "Savior". A total of 13 cameras fixed on Heavy Metal's most diverse band of the decade as Rob Halford and his band deliver one of his best live performances in front of over 200,000 Brazilian metal maniacs! Rob Halford helped bring metal back into the new millenium with his three decades of material. The live set consists of Halford, Fight and Judas Priest classics 'Stained Class,' 'Electric Eye,' 'Metal Gods' and 'Breaking The Law'. When I say this set will rock you socks off, it literally will. 'Live At Rock IN Rio III' is an visual and audio metallic experience forged by Rob Halford intense and soaring vocals, Metal Mike Chlasciak and Pat Lachman unleashing a six string frenzy that would rival a pack of piranahas at feeding time. Then you have the thunder of bassist, Ray Riendeau and drummer, Bobby Jarzombek that would make the God Thunder himself Thor envious. From the opening track "Resurrection", you see and hear the crowd crowd going nuts in anticipation of the metal barrage that awaits them. To hard hitting Fight songs "Into The Pit" and "Nailed To The Gun" to Judas Priest classics 'Stained Class,' 'Electric Eye,' 'Metal Gods' and 'Breaking The Law'the action is fast & furious. Chlasciak & Lachman are blindingly fast & accurate on guitars, but I am always drawn to the drummer Bobby Jarzombek and he continues to amaze me. Check out the demo tape he sent in featured on the DVD Documentary, you see why Rob made the right choice. 'Live At Rock In Rio III' comes highly recommended and definitley delivers the goods!. I'm just absolutely amazed that he can still sound fierce and powerful in his 50s.

All hail Halford, the Metal God!
