Josh Ramos (LeMans/Hardline) and Hugo Valenti (Valentine/Open Skyz) join forces to release an amazing piece of AOR heaven, with their debut outing, 'The Dream'. The players backing up this dynamic duo are, producer Fabrizio Grossi, who plays bass on the album, keyboardist Eric Ragno (ex Takara, China Blue) and John Macaluso (Riot, Malmsteen, Starbreaker, Ark etc) on drums and they helped lay down all the tracks for the album. The mix was handled by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69). 'The Dream', the debut release from Josh Ramos and Hugo Valenti is an AOR master class recording. The production is amazing, atmospheric ballads, heavy intricate melodies, powerful and passionate vocals. As is evident on tracks like, "You're Not Alone", "All That I Wanted" and "Fool's Game", not a weak track on the album. An album that is overwhelmingly well structured and produced, with a sound quality which just melts in the mouth. I have always been a fan of both Josh Ramos and Hugo. The chemistry between them is tight. What they've created here is so refreshingly varied. I so hope we'll hear more from these two talented artists. If you like your AOR with power, style, and flawless musicianship, this is certainly a recording that is worth your attention. I strongly encourage all melodic rock fans to pick this one up.
