After Chicago’s grand summer birthday celebration of Joe Jackson (co-owner of Chi-Coast Entertainment and the Father of the legendary Jackson Musical Family) was held thanks to Rick Neville (President/CEO of Chi-Coast Entertainment) in association with Stan Wozniak and his staff the upscale club The Joynt, the Windy City hosted continuous birthday celebrations. In a town where they’re known to party till the crack of dawn; there was action at Chicago’s Underground Wonder Bar where Vince Willis (Earth, Wind, and Fire) sang as he eloquently played the piano. Irene Mojica (popular Chicago radio personality of the V103 top-rated radio station known as, “Today’s R & B and Old School,” joined Willis for an impromptu duet to celebrate the eve of her birthday. The lovely Mojica also sang the closing song at Joe Jackson’s 80th A-List birthday party. Joe Jackson and Irene Mojica weren’t the only celebrities celebrating their birthdays the final weekend of July in the Windy City; George Clinton had just returned from his double Hollywood celebration in Beverly Hills and a musician’s secret after hours underground party at that famous studio located at the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Orange in Hollywood where Axl Rose once lived. 
George Clinton celebrated his birthday again Chi town style at Chicago’s Cubby Bear Café (across from Wrigley Field where those currently in first place beloved Chicago Cubs play) with P Funk (Parliament Funkadelic). Clinton’s nephew Sa’D (The Hourchild) Ali and Chicago celebrity photographer and executive music producer Steven I. Wolf, who is also known as Steve Wolf from his Chicago Loft Studio, were special guests in the house while the weekend concluded with Steve’s Golden Birthday Barbeque Party at 4:20pm on July 27, 2008 at Chicago’s Weeds, a laid back casual venue with an inviting outdoor picnic area. Steve Wolf spent his 50th birthday in style with all-star musicians jamming including Vince Willis on keys and vocals, legendary music producer and guitarist Kevon Smith (Buddy Miles) and the sensational Ruby Harris (violinist known on the high society wedding circuit). Both Smith and Harris were also members of the all-star band that performed at the famous 80th birthday party of Joe Jackson held three nights earlier. Also performing at Steve Wolf’s Golden Birthday Party were Ron Prince (Kinsey Report), Phil Baron on keys and Larry Beers on drums along with outstanding jazz vocalists Peaches Staten, Catherine Whitney, and Suzy Brack and sensational rock vocalist Sonny Cool and former P-Funk musician vocalist Sonny Cool (Father of the upcoming Chicago rapper Kei-Key “Bu” who was also one of the honored guests in attendance at Steve’s birthday barbeque). Chris Harper from Zurich, Switzerland and his side project band Sharade performed with 
the famed vocalist Peaches Staten as their special guest, and Patrick Dugan’s blues rock band called Harlan Flo, featured the enchanting Amanda Rivas as the birthday crowd enjoyed their music into the night. Belita Woods (Mother Funk of P-Funk) and Joe Thomas (Buddy Miles) were in attendance, and he had just celebrated the birth of his baby boy along with Thomas performing later that night at the Underground Wonder Bar. At midnight Sonny Cool and Moussa sang, “I Shot the Sherriff” right before the final Chi town birthday weekend toast.
