Previously of BC’s Jakalope, Katie Rox is now on her own, and doing it solo. Touring all over eastern Canada from Toronto, Ontario to St John’s, New Brunswick, Rox’s doing her own thing and lovin it. After an attempt at the “rock n’ roll” lifestyle in Jakalope, Rox has decided that her life was not a life of a rocker girl, but her own Albertan country girl folk style.
Rox has a passion for giving it her all; she puts her heart and soul into her music and has fun doing it. She is a definite entertainer, and likes to be intimate with the audience. Rox listens to her fans and knows what they want to hear, forming her show off the energy her fans feed her. An adorable joker, Rox simply likes to have fun!
Rox does everything on her own, as many artist do these days. Booking shows to booking flights and, yes of course performing. Rox is currently on tour with Leslie Pike of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the Gentlemen Prefer Blonds tour, promoting her first album titled, ’High Standards’.
