Echo Jet :: Echo Jet

CD Review
By The Atomic Chaser
Echo Jet's self-titled debut release, is loaded with catchy tunes that are anything but bubblegum that will stick in your head, and you'll find that it will be the only CD to touch your player for weeks. Echo Jet is Denny Scott on vocals, Kenny Scott on guitar, Joey Clement on bass, Jon Hastings on drums and Josh Dunahoo on lead guitar. What these talented rockers bring to the table is the perfect combination of pop and rock, with plenty of melodic guitars and gorgeous melodies. As soon as you press play and the lead off single, "The Wave" shoots out of your speakers, the band have your undivided attention. Then there are tracks like, "Love Kills". "Something To Believe" and "California Blur" that are soon to be radio hits. This is the kind of album where new sonic details emerge even after multiple repeated listens. All in all, I think anyone can find something they like on this disc, and I personally enjoy all 11 cuts thoroughly. Echo Jet have an energy that is so contagious, it practically drags you out of your seat and commands you to move. The bottom line is, this is truly an excellent rock and roll album. The power of the ideas, the production, the tightness, the delivery never disappoints. This is ear-candy of the highest order. Echo Jet's debut release is an album that you could leave in the CD player for days and not care because it will rock every time. Go ahead, indulge.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
