For close to twenty years ARRA has been entertaining the fans with cover songs that everyone wants to hear. ARRA is a local Chicago classic rock cover band that has been voted, Best Classic Rock Band in the Suburban Nightlife’s “Best of the Burbs” contest for the second year in a row!
ARRA is Tyler Holcomb whose lead vocals bring the sound of the originals to the stage, Kevin Kreis on keyboards that fill a void other bands can only dream about, Kevin Conner – guitar / vocals – “KCFrets” because I believe the frets on his guitars must wear out on a seasonal time frame, Steve Latka bringing the bass to another level with personality and back-bending moves, Jim “Blaze” Zahrobsky who will sooth your soul and then blow you away with incredible blazing leads. Last but not least, Rob Wiseman on percussion, keeping the beat strong but then dropping the sticks and doing vocals too.
With harmonies unmatched in the local music scene and unheard of in cover bands ARRA plays to the fans. Over the seventeen years they have brought songs from artists like Boston, Journey, Kansas, Hinder, Firehouse, Bon Jovi, Nickleback, Queensryche, Creed and others. Fan favorites include … well to be honest; all of the songs are the fan favorites. And the 
main reason for that is these guys use the fan energy and appreciate the fans making sure they continue to evolve to what their fans want to hear. In the interview I remember hearing that it is because of the fans that ARRA has been able to remain on main stages and the best clubs for close to twenty years.
Couple their stage presence with a lighting show by Dean Faciana, lighting production that rivals national acts; ARRA continues to bring a down to earth memorizing show that fans of fans want to see… some of the coolest stuff to see when I am walking around shooting the band and fans is the diverse fan base and in some cases too see fans that have followed ARRA for the twenty years that have now married and bring their own kids to the shows. You can never start a baby out to young on rock and roll, especially classic 80’s rock like ARRA plays. With Dave, Mike and Josh, the stage gets set, the band picks up their instruments and the fans enjoy everything they hear. I would not miss this act when you are looking for something to do in Chicago.
