Since being on the cover of All Access Magazine in February 2008 LIPSTICK MAGAZINE has taken off in MAMMOTH proportions! It was announced this month that the New Jersey based band was signed to Nightmare Records/ Koch Entertainment with their new album “SKIN DEEP” to be for sale on August 5th, 2008 in the US. The Cd will be released throughout Europe by Vigilante Music soon after; the official date is September 1st, 2008. For LIPSTICK MAGAZINE the excitement just does not seem to be winding down anytime soon! In fact things just get bigger and bigger from there.
They will be playing at the Rocklahoma festival on July 11th, 2008. They will be rocking Stage two the Nightmare/ Tri Label stage at 5:15 pm. Rocklahoma is in Pryor, Oklahoma, and there is no doubt that LIPSTICK MAGAZINE will be a main attraction! The demand has been so enormous; with fans begging for merchandise and even guitars that they decided to GIVE AWAY a GUITAR in a contest, after they play at 5:15. They have had so much happen this year that their heads are now spinning a very welcome feeling to all the band members. The amazing female lead vocalist Toni, Damon and Nat on Lead/Rhythm guitars, David on Keyboards, Marc on Bass and Russ on Drums; for the crew from New Jersey the fun does not stop with their record deals in the US and Abroad, or even their Rocklahoma event on July 11th, 2008. It just keeps going, and the frenzied fever is building!
Though they had the cover of all covers at www.allaccessmagazine.com this year; there have been articles and critical acclaim coming from all over the music industry. They have been read about in Maximum Metal, Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, Heavy Metal Time Machine, Billboard.com and Rock Eyez. And will soon be heard by millions all over the world! With a radio play push that is going quite nicely with the help of Skateboard Management! They may soon be heard on as many as 250 radio stations here in the US and in Europe.
Even with the closeness that fans with 3 day V.I.P passes can get at Rocklahoma, once all is said and done there; LIPSTICK MAGAZINE will show up with Rocklahoma main headliner BRET MICHAELS closer to their home turf in Allentown, PA on August 5th, 2008 where they will be headlining and Debuting their new Cd “SKIN DEEP” at the CROCKODILE ROCK as their official release party! At the end of the night they will be PERFORMING with BRET MICHALES who will be getting on stage with LIPSTICK MAGAZINE to perform two Poison songs that are sure to ROCK OUT Listeners there and may even be heard all the way back to their home state of NEW JERSEY!
