UK's newest rock messiahs Get Vegas come onto the rock and roll playing field with their 4 song self-titled EP and they come to play. The songs that the band serve up here are pure, great bluesy rock and soul. If you are in the mood, or plain out appreciate, killer guitar riffs, great vocals, and a tight rhythm unit, all packaged in some 70's style rock n roll ala Free and Bad Company, then this is a band you definitely have to check out. Get Vegas is, Jonny Cole on vocals, whose vocals are amazing. Ric Gingell on guitars, Adam Laing on bass and Martin Saint on drums. All four tracks are winners, just pop it in the cd player and be prepared to do whatever it is you do with music in the background, only you'll be doing it with a grin ear to ear. Get Vegas's EP album gives an edge to blues based rock with the emotion not heard on the music scene in years. From the depth of "Lying Dreams" to the drive behind "Burning Soul", this band is hard to beat. Add to that the pure passion and emotion in "Nobody Else" you can't go wrong with Get Vegas. You FEEL every word and every riff of every song. It's all about the passion and soul here, and the undying spirit of rock 'n' roll. Few bands have embraced the classic rock and soul vibe as fully as Get Vegas. This band is a godsend for rock fans who are tired hearing the same old crap that is currently bombarding the airwaves. Get Vegas is real rock and roll. Rock music that is filled with immense warmth and passion. Dripping with a fierceness of a band that is laying it all on the line. I'm here to tell you, these guys are very, very damn good.
