West Hollywood's Roxy Theatre, located at 9009 West Sunset Boulevard, is considered by most music industry insiders to be "the" pinnacle venue in the United States (maybe the world) for any original rock band. It’s noteworthy headliners have and continue to be legendary.
On a very special hot Friday night, Michael T brought his highly acclaimed band to the Roxy to serve up some good fresh rock and roll with a big bang. Their look and feel was somewhere between Prince and Led Zeppelin. A five piece band featuring two hot blonde female backup singers with Michael T the flashy, sexy, lead guitarist and vocalist playing great songs with clear, strong vocals. Michael T's band was triumphant on the Roxy stage. Patrons hailed it as one of the best rock shows they’d seen in a long time.
The Michael T Band tore through a first rate set of original and fresh sounding, memorable tunes. Starting with their U2 and Kravitz-esque song “The Radio Sunrise“ which immediately took hold of the audience. The Michael T Band continued with “Dare To Be Free“, a catchy, rocking song about personal freedom. He then switched to funk rock with “The Fun Key Ticket“. Michael T continued captivating the audience with his soulful song “If You've Seen Christine" a somewhat Bon Jovi -esque pop metal tune. The band then unleashed an underground groove metal favorite, "Video is Alive“. Michael T slayed the crowd with the bouncy “Girls In The Playground" featuring extra beautiful “sexy schoolgirl“ dancers gracing the stage blowing bubbles and skipping rope to the song. This was a very memorable show indeed!
