It is mind-blowing how Beautiful Grey is able to combine so many different genres of music into their powerfully soulful debut, 'Fine Forever'. It is impossible to define this band to just one genre of music. Rock, acoustic rock, reggae, soul, R&B, gospel, blues, funk, there is definitely a lot going on here. As a music lover, you can't ask for anymore. The musicians that are responsible for creating this magic are, Masen Persson on lead vocals, Stefan Bergstrom on guitar, Mats Attaque on guitar, Mikael Hoglund on bass and Jonas Ostman on drums. It’s rock solid chemistry that you hear and feel on each song. The songs themselves will grow and grow on you with repeated listening. Tracks like, "Superstar", "Back In The Real World", the cool smooth vibe of, "L.A. Woman" to the album closing, "Last Bullet". No smoke and mirrors, just honest music. The musical landscapes and the textures-upon-textures create a dizzying effect sometimes. At times, the songs are completely funky, then completely soulful, always with a good rock groove. This music can and never will get old because like all great things in life, it will become a part of you from the very first second that you hear it. Beautiful Grey is a truly unique and magnificent band who presents their remarkable understandings of the world and the people in it with so much honesty, wisdom and beauty.
