Organize Your Recording Equipment with Edit 5 Consoles

Are you frustrated with how your Pro Tools workstation, Mbox, display, external backup drives, mixer, digital recording studio, and active and passive monitors are arranged? How about wiring and rewiring your rack every time you get a new preamp or power conditioner? If so, it’s time to streamline your equipment setup so you can channel all that energy into making music.

Los Angeles-based Edit 5 Consoles’ high-end multimedia furniture for Hollywood video, movie, and TV editors is now available and affordable for musicians’ professional and home studios.

The E51 Multimedia Console is designed to fit easily into small room, with the monitor bridge securely attached to the desktop at an ergonomic height perfect for your monitor and speakers.

Need more surface area or flexibility? The E52 Extra-Large Multimedia Console is for you. The adjustable monitor bridge with optional wheels is separate from the desk, and adjusts up to 41” high.

Edit 5’s 13 RU Rack will hold your equipment securely. Like some racks, the top is completely removable to access the front and rear sliding rack rails. Unlike other racks, Edit 5’s also has innovative pop-off sides that are independent of the rails and top. You can rewire or add components without having to remove everything from the top – and you can have light streaming in from both sides. The rack’s steel reinforced casters are literally industrial strength, and two of them lock to hold the rack in place. Each rack holds up to 1200 lbs. of equipment.

Racks can be used alone or combined with either Multimedia Console, where they tuck neatly underneath the desktop.

Originally designed for the equipment needed by Hollywood studios and post-production facilities, Edit 5’s furniture has heavy duty powder-coated steel and bolts, sturdy melamine-covered wooden particle board, and steel reinforced casters. It is also water- and scratch-resistant, with a stain-proof finish. Corners are curved and bonded with reinforced rubber, and there are no sharp edges (even inside the rack).

Edit 5’s consoles and racks are not only better than comparable industry furniture, they are half the price and come with a 1-year no hassle repair-or-replace warranty.
