Lawrence Baker LoneWolfLawrence Baker LoneWolf introduces his unique Australia style Rock/Acoustic/Americana and will begin his 2008 USA tour with special guest legendary Arthur Godfrey with dates soon to be released.

“Lawrence Baker LoneWolf is a singer, songwriter and musician from Sydney, Australia who started playing guitar at the age of 13 where the guitar quickly became an attachment to him and was taken everywhere including skiing and football trips. He began writing songs at the age of 16 with a high school friend. His creativity for music and songwriting allowed him to write songs at home when alone or anywhere he and his guitar would be. He wrote the song Nowhere State of Mind in the back seat of a car while waiting for a movie at a drive-in theater. LoneWolf has goals of becoming a musical communicator. He has recently produced a CD with 14 original songs named, Lawrence Baker LoneWolf - Force of Nature and has a two track European single named As The Crow Flys that has been released in Europe and available for sale.

At the age of 16, LoneWolf produced his first song and was jamming. He was writing new songs and practicing the songs of the moment from other artists in the afternoons. His first live solo gig was at a hospital fund raiser which was a huge success when he was 20 years old. At the age of 23, LoneWolf was touring Australia with a band known as The Glass Cannons. He toured with The Glass Cannons who had established themselves as a touring act, and in the course of the bands life, supported both International and local headline bands like Suzi Quatro, Wendy Mathews, The Party Boys, The Chantoozies, Big Pig and many more. After five years of touring with the band, LoneWolf disbanded the Cannons to pursue his own solo career.

LoneWolf was established in1996 after buying a small night club called Venue 1 which was located in a suburb of the Central Coast of New South Wales called The Entrance. His club was located in a very popular area for tourists and locals who gave LoneWolf the opportunity to perform and showcase his talent while sourcing players that could help him create the sound he was striving to achieve. He successfully established the first Central Coast Sunday Night Unplugged session hosting local musicians, singers and performers sharing passion and a music base where the songs were performed and honed meticulously in the fires of Acoustic live performances. During this time he recorded an acoustic five track EP and sold over 1,000 copies on the coast alone.

In 2005, LoneWolf toured the United States of America and met many music industry professionals, such as, Americana legend Arthur Godfrey. He recorded his single in Germany in 2006 with an independent record company named Songhouse International and became the company’s first international artist signed. His single earns radio airplay in Belgium at Radio ZRO 106.2FM and airs in Germany, France and Belgium.

LoneWolf’s love for music, songwriting and entertainment introduced him to Dave Russell, an engineer, operator and owner of Skylab Studio in Sydney Australia. The rest is now history and the future has begun with his Album Lawrence Baker LoneWolf - Force of Nature. After two years in the making and 14 tracks of the heart, soul and spirit of the LoneWolf is now here and on sale. The album also has exposure on web radios playing his songs along with Jay Leno and David Letterman having copies of the CD. Recently, October 2007 at XRQK in Lancaster, CA, program director Steve Webb became impressed with the LoneWolf sound promoting LoneWolf’s new album to 400 stations worldwide. Webb states that he will be honored to interview LoneWolf live when he enters the USA.

The solo/singer artist has an international tour on the horizon in the United States of America in 2008 performing with a six piece band and a special guest keyboardist. The music is likened to that of young Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams making it appreciated by a large audience globally. His songs are journey songs keeping them real, expressed with meaning of his life experiences. LoneWolf states, “I write so that the listener will say, I know what that track is about, that’s me, I've been there. Listeners connect with the material.” His song Used To Be My Girl was written after he watched an episode of people lined up to see a movie on the Seinfeld Show. His unique songwriting techniques created this song by imagining being lined up outside the theatre to see a movie with situations happening to them and around them. He explains it like this, “well I thought, imagine if that was you, and you were with a new partner, but ahead of you in the line was your very recent ex-girlfriend. She was with a new person, you were with a new person, and you both are aware of each other being there. It's all about the unspoken moments between two ex-partners, like a Wayne’s World moment”

LoneWolf’s dreams and goals from his heart are reaching their destiny to venture out into the world and become a communicator, songwriter, singer, performer and a musician. The upcoming 2008 USA tour will give LoneWolf' and his back up band The 7 Deadly Sins the opportunity to play live and let the songs do what they are written for which is connect with people thru performance, the greatest compliment any singer, songwriter and performer can achieve.

LoneWolf sends his message and wants to be heard with this statement,

“I think my music differs because it is Rock, it’s organic and not prefab. I want to make the connection with the listeners either by radio, TV or live performance.”

He continues by explaining, “I want the songs to be a memory that someone will connect with their lives.” LoneWolf has the energy to perform great songs that’ll always conjure up a memory in the listeners mind with the passion for music to always write great songs.
