JEFF LENHART once said, “Live life to the best you can be, and do for others. Do your part to make this world a better place for our kids and our way of life."
Many knew Jeff and many loved him. What’s not to love? He was always eager to help anyone who would ask him, continuously going beyond the meaning of F-R-I-E-N-D-S-H-I-P. Jeff was always there to lend a hand. He touched our hearts in many ways – not only with his kindness, but also as the guitarist/vocalist in his band Xpeld. Have you ever really listened to the lyrics of one of his songs? You still can at MySpace.com/Xpeld. Jeff may have stepped off the stage, but he’ll remain in our hearts forever!
Debra Stocker, Editor – All Access Magazine: “Enough could NEVER be said about Jeff Lenhart. He will be remembered for a very long time. Rest in peace, Jeff, as your music will play on in our hearts forever.”
Thomas – Freedom Studios: “Many if not all of you knew Jeff Lenhart from the band Xpeld. He was my friend and fellow soldier in rock. I loved him, and will miss him terribly.”
Claudia – Dreamcatcher Marketing: “Jeff always asked me to send him more artwork, said his soul cried to release the artist within him. Jeff always had time for everyone and made a foreigner feel at home within the rock world. You will be dearly missed, my friend. My regrets and condolences to the Lenhart family.”
Ernie – Manrique Photos: “Jeff, you were a great inspiration not only to me but to many of the musicians and fans of rock and roll. We will remember!”
The McAuleys (Robin, Gina, Jamie & Casey): “Hey Jeff, goodbye seems so final, my friend, and so for now we'll just say, ‘See you in a few.’ You left us doing what you loved to do best, and what we loved watching you do. You owe us an encore Jeff, and you know we'll be there waiting. May God forever hold you in his arms. Pray for us, Jeff my friend, as you will always be in our prayers. Our deepest sympathy to your wife and sons. We love you, man!
Dyna Shirasaki: “Jeff was one of the most positive souls I've ever known. No matter what kind of mood you were in, his smile and vivacious attitude would always lift your spirits. He would always go out of his way to help you if you needed it, and he would never make you feel like you were a bother. He touched the soul of anyone who knew him, and his untimely passing serves as a sobering reminder of how we should not take our friends and family for granted while they are still around. The world has truly lost a great spirit and we will all miss you, Jeff.”
Joe Walla: “Jeff was one of the great guys. I remember him yelling ‘Joe Walla rocks’ every time he saw me, and he always had nice things to say. I remember him telling me how much he loved my guitar playing, and I told him the same thing every time we saw each other! Jeff was truly one the nicest guys in the rock-n-roll biz I have met! I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone! He was always smiling and always up. It’s such a great loss to us all. My prayers go out to his family and all the people he had touched in the short time he was here. God bless you, Jeff. I know you bring the thunder up there with the big guy. Love you, bro. You will be missed by me and all your friends.”
Stacey Quinealty – Carbon 9: “My heart goes out to Jeff, his family, and friends. I was really taken back by Jeff's passing. My condolences to his family. Jeff was an awesome person and will definitely be missed. I was sorry to have received this news.”
Bobby Richards: “Keep rockin’ in rock-n roll heaven! See you again some day!”
Teee and Erin O'Neill – JP JustPunk Graphics: “We've known and worked with Jeff for several years and we never saw him get angry or upset! He would go out of his way to help people without a thought of compensation. He was a GOOD man, a GOOD father, and a GOOD person who will be greatly missed. His music will play on ‘In Living Memory’ of him.”
Judge Jackson: “The members of Judge Jackson were shocked and saddened when we heard about Jeff's sudden passing. Jeff was a wonderful person with a great attitude and work ethic and true passion for music. At this time, we want express our respects and condolences to the Lenhart family and the members of his band Xpeld. God bless, and rest in peace, friend.”
Perris Records: “Jeff Lenhart was a stand-up guy. Perris Records was proud to work with his band Xpeld. Jeff was the reason the all-star band 3 Legged Dogg signed to Perris Records: He had Vinny Appice contact us and made it happen. Jeff will be greatly missed in the world of rock 'n' roll.”
The Iron Maidens/Mark Dawson DRZ Entertainment Group: “Jeff, we want to thank you for the immeasurable kindness you always shared with everyone, for your talents and dedication to your music and contributions to the music scene, and above all your pure spirit and beautiful soul that leaves us all in tears until we meet again. You were doing what you truly loved until the very end. ‘Die With Your Boots On’ indeed, dear friend! God bless you. You are missed.”
Vinny Appice: “It's hard to believe what happened. I will really miss hanging with Jeff. He was one of the nicest people I've met, never a bad word to say about anyone. I admired the drive he had for his band and his music. My thoughts are with his family. I will miss him very much!”
Steiger: “Jeff was not only a great player and singer, he was a great friend-father-brother-son and all-around giving person. He was always giving 100%. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. Jeff, you will be missed and remembered always. – Your Eternal ROCK Co-Pilot”
Kurt and Bonnie: “Jeff Lenhart was one of the nicest, most thoughtful people we knew. Several times he invited me, Kurt, to jam with him and perform on stage. He offered his help to us when I had gigs, and put us on his guest list when we were broke. I think that we should ALL look at his life and try to emulate what he was and remember his music and kindness forever.”
Monica Wild: “A cowboy wants to die with his boots on; Jeff got to pass on doing what he loved: playing his guitar with his band and his fans right there. What a way to go."
Stu Simone: “We will all miss Jeff much; he was a very friendly, generous guy and seemed to be really coming into his own as a musician. As with Jimi Hendrix, one can only wonder at what he could have accomplished. We were talking about having me play a guest solo on his next album, which sounded like he was taking a big musical step forward. God surely works in mysterious ways -- who knows what all this means. But I do believe we -- especially musicians -- are all connected in ways beyond our comprehension. About the time of his tragic passing (maybe even the same night?), I suddenly decided I just had to wear an Xpeld tank top that Jeff had given me about a year earlier...but I had forgotten about it and had NEVER worn it until that night. If you never forget that you WILL die, then you should wake up every morning and THANK God that you have been given the GIFT of another day of life. It's not how LONG you live, it's how MUCH you live, and I think Jeff lived a lot…."
Pat Schee: “Jeff will be greatly missed by all!”
Tricia: ”Jeff will be truly missed by everyone he knew. It is a very sad time for us all.”
Bobby Koch: “Jeff Lenhart, you will be sadly missed. You, my friend, ARE loved, by all who've ever had the pleasure of knowing you. Know, and watch every one of us. Your friends and ‘music community family’ members continue to "Rock-On" in your name, as we know in our hearts that it's what you would want for us to do. You've been an influence to many of us in the local music scene, probably without a lot of us realizing it – myself included. You were a mentor of sorts, and seemingly without knowing it, while you were with us you held an example for us to be good to everyone, even when some of us are out of line, or deserved to be on your sh** list, because you didn't have a sh** list, you loved EVERYBODY! Your kindness to all couldn't possibly ever be forgotten – you are, after all, Jeff Lenhart. May God bless your soul. From all of us in the ‘Paladino's Community,’ we love you, our brother! Amen.”
Frank Casciato: “Sooo sorry about the loss of Jeff. I only barely knew him, but you'd never know that from when I saw him at a club. What a really good guy. My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone who was close to him.”
Frank Hawk – WOOD: “What a great guy. He always gave freely and never asked for anything in return. He was a great voice for rock and roll.”
StoryTeller: “Waking up Sunday morning to get a massage that a great friend has passed is never a good thing. I have seen a lot of bands and musicians come and go, and leave their dreams behind. But not Jeff! He was a true believer in music and had such a passion for it. Every time we would hang out and have a few cold drinks we would talk about music. It was like we were two little kids who just found out about this new toy. After all the uphill battles in the music industry, Jeff always had an up-swing. We enjoyed playing with Jeff and his band, Xpeld. He was always helpful. I don't think I know of a single person who has anything bad to say about Jeff. It's true: ‘Only the good die young!’ I just hope his kids will know what a great person their father was and how much he touched his friends. I will truly miss him. My thoughts are with his family, and Andy and Duayne, and all who have been touched by knowing Jeff.”
Kisses: “RIP, Jeff! You will be missed!”

DistortedFate: “Jeff was one of the coolest and most helpful people we have ever met in the local music scene, and he will be missed tremendously. RIP, Jeff.”
Tony DePetro – Raven’s Cry: “To the Lenhart family left behind, my deepest sympathies go out to Warsi, Marky, Jordan, and all the Xpeld extended family. Jeff, I thank you with my heart. You are a light that will shine on in all our eyes and hearts forever. I appreciate your fire and our friendship, musicianship, and guitar playing. I saw your strengths too. Jeff, I remember all the talks about family, friends, and band business stuff. I respect you greatly and believe with you. Jeff, you did and will continue to impact all our lives in such a big, big way. I’m your friend forever. All of us left behind, especially Jeff’s family and the Xpeld family, let's keep flying together.”
