Accomplice :: She's On Fire

Sonicvibe Records

CD Review

By The Atomic Chaser

A perfect blend of progressive overtones and AOR brilliance. That's how I would be how I describe the latest stunning release from Accomplice. Serving up a healthy dose of tour de force rockers in the form of "Take Love". "Party's Over" and the guitar laden mover, "Again & Again". Then you have the rock radio ready, "City Walls" segueing into adrenaline pumping, "Autobahn". The band's chemistry is hand in glove. Johnny Gioeli's vocals are superb and sound better than ever. Sean Michael Clegg guitar work will send chills up and down your spine. While Michael T. Rosson keyboards, Scott J. Snyder on bass and Richard Arbuckle on drums provide the band with its rock solid foundation. I have to say I am amazed how great the band sounds. Their debut release was solid, but this one just downright blew me away! Accomplice pushes the musical boundaries in terms of complexity yet still rocks with an abundance of melody and harmony, a difficult thing to accomplish without 100% dedication to create something new. There is very little left to say. 'She's On Fire' is an album that will without a doubt leave you comfortably numb. If this sounds remotely like music you would like to experience, then go for it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
