FRACTURE
An assistant DA (Ryan Gosling) is caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse with a man (Anthony Hopkins) who tried to murder his wife and is set free on a series of technicalities You know the man is guilty so you wonder how is this going to be interesting, well it has some twists and you think its over when they spring something on you, you should have been able to figure out but it you didn’t they tell you the whole thing at the end. Pretty good film

IN THE LAND OF WOMEN
Meg Ryan, Adam Brody, devastated over his breakup with his girlfriend, Carter leaves L.A. to stay with his wacky Grandma, across the street from the Hardwicke family. He struggles with his own inner conflicts, he is drawn into the pains and loves of the Hardwicke women -- all of whom, in their way, fall in love with Carter, and all of whom, in their way, help him find his way back. Sad little story with an even sadder ending.
My Rating **

SPIDERMAN 3
Toby Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco: Peter Parker has finally found the balance he’s longed for between his love for Mary Jane Watson and his responsibilities as Spider-Man. The city of New York and it’s citizens are at last coming around and appreciating everything he has done as his crime-fighting alter ego, and Peter is in the running for a staff job at the Daily Bugle. This movie was so disappointing that I wanted to walk out.

PREMONITION
A housewife is shocked when her husband dies in a car crash and reappears the next day. She realizes it was a premonition and tries to avoid the tragedy. This is a really strange film they are trying to make us think that one she thinks she can change the outcome of her husband’s eminent death. And yet she knows he’s going to die and then she actually ends up causing the death no real way to save this film not really worth the cash to spend to see it. Wait for DVD.
My Rating **

PATHFINDER
Karl Urban, A Viking boy is left behind after his clan battles a Native American tribe. Raised within the tribe, he ultimately becomes their savior in a fight against the Norsemen. If you are a Viking fan you may have a problem with this film for they are portrayed as pillaging and hatful clan they had become taking what they wanted and killing all in their path. The path finder is a young boy who survives the first slaying and is found by an Indian chief’s squaw and takes him and raises him as her own and the path relives its self to go full circle where he fights his own kind to save his new life choice.

NEXT
If you see the future; you can save it in Next, Cris Johnson (Nicolas Cage) is a Las Vegas magician with the ability to see a few minutes into the future. Seeking to escape government scrutiny, he lives off the grid, performing cheap tricks for meager cash under an assumed name. Then a terrorist group threatens to detonate a nuclear device in Los Angeles, FBI agent Callie Ferris (Julianne Moore) becomes determined to track Cris down and convince him to help stop the attack. I am getting a little tired of seeing our land attacked with everything gong on right now and TV shows like 24, it just reminds you that nothing is safe.
My Rating ***

THE INVISIBLE
Justin Chatwin, Two young teens’ real selves are invisible to others, one due to his untimely death and the other due to the neglect she’s endured since the death of her mother. Goes through the whole film trying to get the girl who did this to him to hear him to go back and save him in doing so she dies where is the happy ending in that?
My Rating **

LUCKY YOU
Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana, A hotshot poker player tries to win a tournament in Vegas, but is fighting a losing battle with his personal problems. Gambling trying to have a love life and making things work with a job being gambling it is bound to have problems. A cutesy girl flick with a love story chooses this or that and see how you win.
My Rating *

GEORGIA RULE
Georgia Rule follows a rebellious, uncontrollable teenager (Lohan) who is hauled off by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend the summer with her grandmother (Fonda). Her journey will lead all three women to revelations of buried family secrets and an understanding that - regardless what happens - the ties that bind can never be broken. This film is duds if you look at their faces you wonder why they even made the film themselves. It is trite and not worth the cash.
