Don’t bother ~
BLADES OF GLORY - In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters were stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men's single competition. Presently, however, they've found a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team. This is a really strange make up of an idea for a film some funny parts and some corny parts if you like will you Will love this film.

TMNT - Strange events are occurring in New York City, and the Turtles are needed more than ever, but Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo have become lost and directionless. With the city at stake, it's up to Leonardo and Zen Master Splinter to restore unity and ninja discipline to the Turtles. After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. This will go over well for kids but not something I need to see. Ok viewing if you tag along with your child.
My Rating **
PRIDE - The determined Jim Ellis starts a swim team for troubled teens at the Philadelphia Department of Recreation. Based on true story of a black man trying to change some under privileged kids over come racial adversity, these are boys that had nowhere else to go so Ellis taught them to swim and make something of themselves through pride and perseverance.

PREMONITION - A housewife is shocked when her husband dies in a car crash and reappears the next day. She realizes it was a premonition and tries to avoid the tragedy. This is a really strange film they are trying to make us think that one she thinks she can change the outcome of her husband’s eminent death. And yet she knows he’s going to die and then she actually ends up causing the death no real way to save this film not really worth the cash to spend to see it. Wait for DVD.

THE ULTIMATE GIFT - A privileged young man (Fuller) learns to rethink his life, thanks to a series of tasks his recently deceased grandfather (Garner) has him accomplish as part of his inheritance. This is not at all what I had expected from this film. I thought there would have had more religious over tones to really send a message but it did not. It was good some will find it hard to relate to especially when there is so much money involved.
My Rating ***
THE REAPING - Thousands of years ago there was a series of bizarre occurrences that many believed to have been the Ten Biblical Plagues. No one thought they could happen again. Until now, this film could border on horror it has many things that would place it there. There are some scenes really leave you guessing if she is the cause or not? Well done but to open and ending for my liking.
My Rating ****
ARE WE DONE YET - Nick Persons (Ice Cube), his new wife (Nia Long), and her two kids (Allen and Bolden) leave the city behind for a fixer-upper in the 'burbs -- an investment which quickly turns from a dream into a nightmare for Nick, as the contractor (McGinley) working on the house bonds with everyone in the family ... except Nick. REALLY HARD PLACE to put a black family willing to go through that many trials ,has token dumb white handyman who plays a gay cop in wild hogs some parts funny mostly slapstick and forced to be funny.
My Rating **
GRINDHOUSE - Back-to-back flicks from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. In Tarantino's Death Proof, three Austin ladies out for a night on the town are trailed by Stuntman Mike (Russell), a scarred outsider with one killer car; in Rodriguez's Planet Terror, a dancer (McGowan) and her ex-boyfriend (Rodríguez) are a town's only real hope against an outbreak that turns everyday people into flesh-hungry aggressors. Get ready to see what you’re not ready to see but it’s on purpose so it may just work.
My Rating ***
THE LAST MIMZY - When 2 kids parents notice that they are beginning to show signs of unusual intelligence, they wonder why. The children’s teachers notice too, confirming not just unusual intelligence, but moving beyond genius. The kids find some amazing new toys, including a stuffed rabbit called Mimzy which speaks to the little girl. The future may depend on what the kids do next. This is cute for kids but it’s hard to tell a new story and have people want to really think it possible.
My Rating **
REIGN OVER ME - A man (Sandler) who lost his family in the September 11 attack on New York City runs into his old college roommate (Cheadle). Rekindling the friendship is the one thing that appears able to help the man recover from his grief. This was a forced very well done film but it’s sad to think this could happen to anyone.
My Rating ***
DISTURBIA - After his father's death, Kale Brecht (LaBeouf) becomes sullen, withdrawn, and troubled -- so much so that he finds himself under a court-ordered sentence of house arrest. His mother, Julie anne(Moss), works all the time while her son is home alone. He starts getting claustrophobic and becomes a voyeur as his interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home towards those of his neighbors, one of which is suspect as a serial killer. Once he figures it out it becomes a typical cat and mouse fight.
My Rating ***
LOOKOUT - Chris (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a once promising high school athlete whose life is turned upside down following a tragic accident. As he tries to maintain a normal life, he takes a job as a janitor at a bank, where he ultimately finds himself caught up in a planned heist. Little hard to want to believe it but it was a different premise to get the film rolling, I liked it, but then I like Joseph too.
