20 years can change a lot in a person, but in a band, it only makes the music that much sweeter. Celebrating their 20th Anniversary Tour POISON played last weekend at the Hyundai Pavilion in San Bernardino.
Outside and under the stars POISON treated everyone to a larger than life rock show with a display that included everything from confetti to laser lights and pyrotechnics. What I found to be a particularly noteworthy part of the show was Brett’s dedication of Something to Believe In to our troops overseas. Bearing in mind the day and age we are living in made the moment that much more poignant.
The audience went nuts over each and every song, swaying and singing in delight to tunes such as: Fallen Angel, Nothing but a Goodtime, Every Rose Has it Thorn, and I Won’t Forget You. Adding to the mix of non stop in your face party rock n roll, the guys played a cover of the incredibly catchy We’re an American Band by Grand Funk. Indeed it was very suiting for the 4th of July Holiday!
Without a doubt, POISON are a band that brings together fans of all ages and walks of life, proving their music is truly universal and continues on through the ages.
