CD Review
By The Atomic Chaser
The highly anticipated follow up to 2002s 'Penny Pills' doesn't disappoint. 'Electric Satisfaction' is packed to the brim, full of the same Crash Kelly we all know and love, but they bring many different things to the table this time. Better songwriting, better production, and taking what they did on 'Penny Pills' and kicking it up a notch. One thing is for sure it was certainly worth the wait. It's juvenile to say, but slapping this album into your car stereo will add 10k's of speed to your vehicle, such is the affect of this album on the foot! From the moment ‘Hang Out Where You Matter’ comes firing out of your speakers to the T.REX induced razor's edge of ‘Ride The Wire’ and wham bam thank you mam bravado of "She Put The Shock (In My Rock n Roll)" to ZZ Top meets Thin Lizzy groove of ‘Cracked and Faded’, 'ELECTRIC SATISFACTION' is 100% arena rock that is raw, powerful, molotav cocktail guaranteed to "put the GLAM back into your rock n roll”. Crash Kelly will have baby boomers jonesing for their Raspberries and T.REX records. From start to finish, 'ELECTRIC SATISFACTION' will keep your undivided attention. If you are a fan of 70s power pop glam, but have not heard of Crash Kelly before, give this a shot. You will not be disappointed. This is Crash Kelly at what they do best, great hooks, great melodies, great guitar, and a blast to listen to!!! This one will put a smile on your face.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
