Artist Maren opened up for Powder recently at the Key Club adding more elaborate details to her performance that matched up nicely to go with Powder's dare devil aerial aerobatics and lead vocalist Ninette's innocence in performing her circus routine. It was a night at the Key Club not only for music, but elaborate stage shows as well with daring back-up dancers being added to Maren's set along with special effects enhanced by keeping Ed Faris, lead guitar; Tony, bass; Nick, drummer as members of her band. Miles Mosley didn't have any special dance moves to show, but he played smooth jazz downstairs in the Plush Lounge and made beautiful music and history by gaining acceptance into the rock world with his special guest vocalist Patrice Quinn that added a touch of elegance.
Maren's pop rock show stood out, and despite being sandwiched between tough competition she still came through as a beautiful rose in bloom being polished in her performance and turning heads. Maren's website was advertised up on the Key Club big screen in between songs to further promote her new release along with an introductory video clip being shown that made the audience curious about her sophomore album Dare to Dream that has a new video "Hey You" to further support it.
Maren simply works hard because she loves what she does, and she keeps coming up with new ideas such as a short video clip showcasing her style before performing a peek a boo introduction behind a sheer sheet. Maren comes out from behind the sheet in full force ready to rock and dance with a strong band with advanced dancers, sometimes in cages backing her up. During Maren's performance, strong vocal talent enhanced her fun filled show, and there were smiles and sex appeal to back her up that gave her an extra edge with a style similar to two of her stated influences that being Madonna and Evanescence.
