Dimevision, Vol. 1: That's The Fun I Have

DVD Review

Dimevision, Vol. 1: That's The Fun I HaveDIMEVISION, VOL. 1: THAT'S THE FUN I HAVE, is a mind blowing homage to a musician and person with a heart of gold. This DVD has tons of incredible footage never seen beyond the PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN camp before which is really awesome to see. It shows what a fun guy Dimebag was and will carry on his legacy in a proud way. One thing I did notice, they loved playing with firecrackers! If you enjoy the 'Vulgar' videos, you have to see this. It contains the expected dose of Dimebag pranks (with firecrackers). But the best part is the old footage of him playing solos live on stage from the mid and late 80's. He plays some Van Halen, Metallica, and Ozzy medleys that will floor and blow you away! The photo galleries are very cool to see as well. In many ways I, and many others, still cannot believe that Dimebag is gone. But when you pop 'DimeVision, Vol.1: That's the Fun I Have', into your player then Dimebag comes back to life like the shooting star he was and it's like he never left at all. It's a shame that a guitarist with all that talent had to die so young and in such a horrible way. If you saw the 'Behind The Music' episode that VH-1 did on Pantera, you understand where I am coming from. Thank God we still have videos like this, 'DimeVision, Vol.1: That's the Fun I Have', so future hard rock fans can see just how great a person Dimebag really was. RIP Brother Dime.
