Crucified Barbara are four femme fatals from Swedenthat seriously get their rocks off on their debut release, 'In Distortion We Trust'. Crucified Barbara is powered by, Mia Coldheart on vocals/guitar, Klara Force on guitar, Ida Evileye on bass and Nicki Wicked on drums. Just imagine if the Runaways and The Backyard Babies decided to get it on in the back of a dark alley with Motorhead and GirlSchool waiting in the wings. I was immediately reminded of those babes in the movie, 'Sin City', the ones that would cut you into pieces if you looked at them wrong. This album would have been the perfect sound track for that movie. Right off the bat the ladies go for the jugular with the album opener, "Play Me Hard (The Bachelor's Guitar) ". Mia Coldheart’s vocals are down right nasty and built for speed. On songs like the ball busting title track and adrenaline pumping, "Losing The Game", Mia Coldheart gets to drop the hammer with guitar riffs that bring you to your knees. Not to be outdone Klara Force shows that she can shred with the best of them. Come on, you have one girl armed with a Flying V and the other getting off with an Firebird. How hot is that?! The thunder that Crucified Barbara bring to the table is served up by bassist Ida Evileye and drummer Nicki Wicked, making sure that they keep their strangle hold on your balls nice and tight. If you thought bands like Sahara Hot Nights or the Donnas rocked, then you haven't heard of Crucified Barbara. They just can't hold a candle to this, I kid you not,Crucified Barbara are the real deal and these girls are taking no prisoners. I love the band's anything goes attitude. Straight up, 'In Distortion We Trust'is pure balls to the wall hard rock music that will chew you up and spit you out after its had its way with you. Sounds like something up your alley? Go for it, I dare you. Just remember, you've been warned.
