Finally, there is hope for the pathetic state of today's musical culture, and it lies within bands such as this. Poets And Pornstars are powered by their ever charismatic frontman Hal Ozsan (vox, guitar), the dangerously drop dead gorgeous Sally Hope (bass), the six string prowess of Tom Domaracki (guitar), and the guys that give the bands it's vibe and solid foundation, Randy Austin (keys), and Dave Plesh (drums). If T.Rex were to get started today, I think this is what they'd sound like. Throw in some obvious Rolling Stones influence and a little early Alice Cooper Band and you got a nice melting pot of classic sounding rock with great production, letting the melodies and harmonies fill the room. Fans of great classic rock'n'roll should not pass these guys by! Poets and Pornstars is one of my favorite finds this year (why it took so long for me to find out, beats me)! Poets and Pornstars is all about having a great time and it shows and is felt through their music. As is evident on destined to be classic rockers, "Get Your Kicks" and "Monkey." Then you have the glammed up power pop stomp of "Strange", that is sure to get your juices flowing big time. Poets And Pornstars will go down as one of the greatest rock band ever. Just like, 'Appetite for Destruction', 'Back in Black', and Led Zeppelin’s 'IV', this CD should be, wait, will, be owned by every rock fan in the world. It's great guitar riffs, an amazing vocalist, a kick arse band and ‘rock on’ attitude that will inspire millions!
