Pop diva Kim Kline, Texan native now Los Angeles transplant, offers her freshman material, which is truly outstanding. Her vocal prowess is very refreshing. Kline’s music is a combination of powerhouse Kelly Clarkson and Alanis Morissette meets Madonna. Her lyrics are introspective, raw and emotional.
“Inside,” the first track draws you in with its upbeat, pop melody that is infectious. The tune explores ones’ lack of self-confidence and fear of being alone and in one’s own skin. This song lures you in with a strong chorus hook.

“Time” is again the theme of feeling incomplete and confused in love. She expresses the wanting of a crystal ball to predict the future and the future of the relationship tainted but healing with time. She is desperate for affection and the need to be needed. Kline’s vocals are crystal clear and her music is thought provoking.
“Disagree,” is obviously the disagreement between a couple that love each other but can’t really work things out. They agree to disagree. “Emotions run high and communication is lacking. I could change for you, but you can’t change for me.” Most people have been in that situation one time or another.
“Dreams” draws you into this track with nice guitar melody. “Dreams” explores the world of dreams that seem real and the feeling like you have been here before.
Kline is a master storyteller. When you listen to her material it seems familiar, like you have heard the tunes before. And the familiarity of the disc makes the experience enjoyable. Kline has tremendous potential. Looking forward to hearing her first CD and expecting great things in the future. Visit her at: www.myspace.com/kimkline
